... Bears!!, Fortunately we were safely in our cable car on viewing 2 bears up and 3 down, including a mother with her cub. The residents of the Westin hotel would be able to see them from the balcony. The bike riders were oblivious, speeding down the gravel slopes.     ... time for it to kick in, I was ok and we headed out for breakfast (at lunch time) and a look around the village. WE had decided the day before to skip skiing itself.     ... and I kept chipping away at my pace which I think was a win win situation as she would have been there all day waiting on me. This hike was very much the same at The Chief hike, but a lot more "up" if that makes any sense!
