We awoke in Sparks, NV and knew we had a long day of riding ahead of us. With that being the case, we left around 8am and ate breakfast along the way. Nevada has one major interstate that crosses the state from west to east. This road across NV has to be the longest, most boring stretch of road we have traveled. Given the opportunity to live in any state in the US, Nevada would rank 50th on my list.

... Carol joined us we all ordered buffalo burgers. They were just what the doctor ordered - so scrumptious. After dinner we went back to the Martz’s, watched a little TV, met some of Sullivan’s friends as they were all going to a pirate party, and then called it a night.
