    ... They gave us detailed information about the company and the relationship between HRG and Dnata. We talked a lot in depth about the Indian market and what makes it unique. The Indian market is a high touch market, very price sensitive, hard to find skilled workers, and they have a very high attrition rate. We also learned more about payment and BSPs (building settlement plans). It was a very informative meeting.

    ... than two ball rooms, most were smaller rooms. The sales manager informed us that unlike Dubai, where conventions took place and such spaces were needed, hotels in Bangalore didn't need such large rooms and the largest demand of meeting spaces were for smaller meeting rooms.     ... to do. When we’re in control, winding up the Western Gahts or cruising through the world’s second largest Mangrove forest, it feels like an accomplishment. We reached it by ourselves, and all our enjoyment is owed only to our own determination. It’s nice to get that sense of getting somewhere rather than being taken somewhere, and it’s exactly the mentality I take away from Bangalore. I don’t need to be led, only pointed in the right direction.

    ... appeared to be a minimal amount of trash generated by the country as a whole. In apartments, I could not find trash cans, apparently since there was not much of a need. Further, the society does not seem to use toilet paper, minimizing sanitary waste (water and soap is used instead).
