We started the morning exploring the east face of Steamboat to find the most spectacular views and some beautifully pitched runs. These new demo skis are the real deal. Love them, and decided not to switch them for our third and final day tomorrow. They make everything easy and quick to bail out of trouble in tough stuff. ... I'm so pleased!

Back to the Sheraton where John took a nap while Sally did a great job with the laundry. How lucky I am to have a wife who takes such good care of me. After a two hour sleep, we went for dinner at Fiesta Jalisco. We ordered an app ( cheese and chorizo) Both of us went with the burrito's. Had to try a Margarita.

Back to the room for showers and bed by 10:00. I do seem to tire out about the 7th. day of a trip. Hope for my second ...

Back to the condo and to bed early - what lightweights!

      Sunday 2/24
Ate a fabulous breakfast at the Paramount - a cute little restaurant close to our condo. I had a cup ...

... the clouds as you will see from the photos, as you come down the mountain you start in cloud, drop out into clear, then into cloud again until you get down to the base and out of the cloud again. Once darkness arrives so does the snow.

For all those amateur astronomers out there, with all this snow in the last week and so much cloud cover I have missed 2 astronomy events, firstly last weekend was a major meteor shower occurence, which was ...
