... picked up so we are literally rocking and rolling back and forth. Rather eerie when you can't see outside anymore. I guess they have done this trip numerous times. Time to go and find something to eat I think. OMG. Never take the fast jet from Santorini to Athens. Nearly eight hours later we finally arrived! Some of the kids threw up as well as some adults in the rough bits. No fun. Never mind we are here now and in our hotel where we'll be for the next three ...

We ended up spending the day with a family from the Netherlands. They live 30 minutes just outside of Amsterdam. Tom is ten and turning 11 on October 25th and he and Caleb immediately took to each other right away. Ivan is a firefight and Plaun works for the city of Amsterdam teaching management skills. We played paddle ball, volleyball and futbol for a good while on the beach followed by doing a ...

... just come from Paros. Naxos and Santorini and have lived their holiday escape. They head back later in the week. We share a great meal and then head off through all the lanes if shops and look around. It is a perfect summers night and the moonlight shining on the water is quite ...

Fortunately, a nice man called Danos who was selling rooms, offered to call my hotel and let them know that I was waiting for them. I was told I would be picked up in an hour and a half, which I was not happy about as I was eager to get to my hotel and get settled. However, showing my displeasure at this I was ...

... switching groups etc, so they keep going to 2, 3, 4, 5 am hopping from one bar, getting bored after 45 minutes and hour, and walking somewhere else to a new scene. When I left at 430 am there was a huge line to get into Sweet Irish Cream (which peaks around 6 I'm told). And since everyone else is doing it you don't even realize what time it is. The streets were just as crowded when I was heading back as any other point in the night.
