The Start of Study Week.... We didn't study....

... a statue we took a picture with. We also watched the waves for a bit, and took more group pictures on rocks. Then it was time to head home, only stopping for the bathroom, and a quick meal. We arrived safely back to Cleos around 5:00pm, unpacked, and are in the middle of a quiet evening. Tomorrow will bring quite a bit of homework, organizing, and looking forward to our camping trip in a couple days.

I hope I didn't miss anything and that you enjoy this post.

Day 1 of the Cape to Cape - Cape Leeuwin to Hamelin Bay

We started off the day with a long walk along the beachfront into Busselton to check out the town. The main feature and attraction is the 1.8km jetty which dominates the shorefront. ... he had never seen a snake move so quick in the sand. Whatever, it was probably a stick blowing away in the wind. We then decided to head into Margaret River for some lunch, so we took a seat at the local pub. What seemed like a good idea the previous evening, didn't look so hot the following morning. We'd decided to go whale watching, only to find the heavens had opened up and it was set to be a terrible day at sea. Needless to say, we both woke up with something of a hangover and were feeling a little green around the gills, so the odds were quite short on who would provide the most entertainment today, the whales or us.
