... eating any low hanging gum leaves, nibbling on the thin branches and scratching their heads on the bark. There was a competition to get to these twigs coming out of the bottom of the tree. Didn't know they ate leaves? I will post some photos. It has rained on and off since we arrived on Friday9 th May. We set up and drove to Busselton. ... chores along with maintenance requirements. And of course there was also the chatting with various campers all around us.

Many a pleasant evening was spent sitting at the camp fire which was also utilized for cooking.

We are anticipating Tim & Penny’s arrival tomorrow. With a birthday cake planned as well as a camp fire roast with damper.

... embers glowing when the fire eventually started to die down. We took heaps of photos and caught loads of gorgeous orbs dancing around us, revelling in the heat and glow of the fire and our love. We talked and talked and laughed and laughed and the time flew by. Before we knew it it was nearly ten o'clock and time for sleep as we were shattered. A pier rip-off and more rain

On our way down south we stopped at the town of Busselton which is home to the longest pier in the Southern Hemisphere. It sounds awesome, well kind of. When we got to the pier, we wanted to walk the almost 2 km long pier, but scratched these plans when we saw that they charged 2.50 AUD per person simply for walking on it, even in this bad and rainy weather.
