... harbour area. It's a very beautiful city with a lot of character. If we would have timed it differently we could have had fish and chips at what is supposed to be Australia's best spot. We drove to one of many beaches and enjoyed a swim and some sun in the 35 degree heat. The ocean felt so refreshing and it was relaxing to just lie on the beach. It would have been great to have just stayed there all day. Walking ...

Now for the last couple of weeks of our journey: We arrived in Perth with no glitches except that we've noticed that the rental company has given us the wrong car. We're happy with what we have and since Hertz doesn't seem to want to pick up the phone I guess they'll have to figure out the mistake for themselves. We stopped to see a snake struggling ...

The plan was to head to Dunsborough and park the vans up and go up in one vehicle to visit Cape Naturaliste which is what we did. They parked their rig in front of our caravan so we wouldn't get boxed in and nobody could steal it. It looked a bit like a road train so Kerry snapped a photo. Off we ...

... Yabby Farm, $25 p.n. with power. Tuesday August 19th We woke to a chilly and rainy day in Esperance. Decided to catch up on our washing as the machine is free at the Yabby Farm. We took our wet washing down to the local laundromat to dry it and found a dryer that worked for free...double bonus!! Esperance is very picturesque nestled on the shores of Esperance Bay and veritably glistened as it poured the sunshine on after lunch. We followed the Tourist ...
