We arrived to our hostel in town pretty late so had a early night in preparation ...

We're staying with a fun Kiwi Canadian couple who live in a wooden cottage surrounded by a forest. Being visited by wild parrots every morning is just one of the pleasant perks of our new location. I have to say little things like being able to open your mouth in the shower again and brushing teeth with tap water are some of the other tiny pleasures putting a smile on my face these days.
