... bullfrogs are busy chattering all around you adding to the atmosphere. I would not have thought that the atmosphere could be topped, but the food and service did just that. Several waiters are constantly busy doting on you to make sure that you have everything you require. They are there just when you need them, but are unobtrusive at the same time. We gave the local market another try today and actually bought a few souvenirs. We managed to fend off their overly aggressive sales tactics, but it just about finished me. Between the beaches, buffets and sunburns, it was quite a culture shock for my boyfriend. He thought that we'd only see poverty, and while there certainly were some sad moments, he seemed shocked that this beautiful country's citizens were happy.

Like any tropical location, it looked like a paradise. Our beach had a section blocked off for the ...

... the information guy. He told us where to go and where not to go. He gave us a map of the "local island." Then he sent us off to another lady, she was amazing. Really friendly spoke both English and Spanish thank god, I speak only a little bit of Spanish. She repeated most of the same information that the other guy said, however, she also gave us the package to our hotel. We loaded bus, with 10 other passengers, I felt like ...
