... weet het maar ze blijven goed) en de Amerikaanse schilderkunst van de 20ste eeuw waarvan ook bij ons bekende schilderijen zoals Edwards Hoppers Nighthawks en Grant Woods American Gothic.

Mijn hosts John en Veerle waren fantastisch en ik kan iedereen hun "family hostel in a fancy appartment", de schitterende keuken en gezellige avonden met hen aanraden :-). Het waren erg fijne dagen en een ideale start van mijn avontuur met als volgende stop Mexico ...

... very happy bunnies.

Much to our amazement, Bree spotted in the distance 'Elwood' written on a massive ball, 100 feet up in the air. We took a very sharp right and promptly saw the 'Bank of Elwood'. Much to his glee, there's a town called 'Elwood' ! It was a bit like the Truman show, but very nice all the same, and many photos were taken. Elwood thinks it's brilliant and wants to live there.

Back on the road, we took more and more ...

I can't leave Chicago. I love it here for soooo many reasons. I decided to do a little more tourism activities. I met Hilary for lunch at Pot Bellys downtown (Delicious sandwiches!) and got to look around her office on the 42nd floor which had a beautiful view of the city.
