          ... Job done. Ayers Rock here we come! I don't think anything could prepare us for the Ayers Rock heat and flies! I didn't know what to expect and I was so distracted because the soap dispenser on the plane had sprayed all over my shorts it looked like I had wet myself that our arrival in to the desert was a bit of a blur! Even though I'm a big fan of rain, as Vancouver has Welly Boots full of it, camping in the rain with a partially leaky tent just wasn't an all time favourite of mine.           ... We finally found a place south of the city at Nobby's Caravan Park at Burleigh Heads. We soon had the tent up and sat with a drink watching the many fruit bats leaving the nearby roosting tree to feed, sweeping just over our heads.
