... heading out for dinner. When we did finally head out, it wasn't dinner we were interested in, but more drinks. We did eventually get some hot wings and potato skins to munch on, but it was mostly beer and cider that was consumed. ... stressed out let me tell you! With all this driving at 40kms an hour, I started to doubt my direction. We were about 50kms into the drive. We passed the Shookumchuck Hot Springs which are man made hot tubs basically but are fed through from the springs naturally. Sounds good in theory but I'm told they are slimy etc and not maintained. ... That didn't work so he rang someone else and rang me back. That didn't work so he tried something else. Finally after 4 phone calls back and forth we had action. He was so apologetic .... and then wished us well on our trip. ... s, we got told that we were not allowed to get close to them because they are very easy to aggravate. The group started off again. Just finished the ride at twelve-thirty it was the most exhilarating and amazing experience I have ever had. The picturesque views over the lakes and mountains are things that I’m never going to forget. I felt exhausted once I got to the bottom. ... and some banter later when the rest of the group came back we sent Jo out on his longboard to go to the nearest liquor store to stock back up on corona. He managed to get back in record time only dropping the box once and loosing only 3 beers not bad at all.
