Arrived at 6:50 local time, after a fourteen hour flight. Bloody knackered. Very quickly through passport control, collected our luggage and off to find Steve. The past few weeks, while Mike has been away in "America" (as the locals say), I've managed to stay busy. I did end up horseback riding with colleagues, which was awesome! I also checked out the beach one day and have been trying out loads of new food and restaurants with friends. Once we got to the bus I scuttled upstairs with the kids and left Arnaud to sort it with the guy who was absolutely against letting us on. Arnaud and the guy talked - I have no idea what was said, but Arnaud was doing that French shoulder shrug and the guy was all exasperated and after about 15 mins Arnaud came upstairs victorious!
