... the day sitting in the front seat beside Mladen and we had a great time. I got to know him much better than I did on the last tour and he is funny. We laughed together non-stop mostly because Mladen had a lot of fun with "that's what she said" jokes (from the television show, The Office). Along with being funny, he's a genuinely nice guy and very smart as well. After spending two full days with him and one of ...

Belgrade is a vibrant city, full of young people out chatting, socialising and creating a real buzz. We decided to save some dinero and share a dormitory - a six bed mixed dorm. The first night we were given the final two berths - the ...

The hot box

... This was alot cheaper to do than the wall in Dubrovnik and a hell of alot harder! I think there were over 3000 steps which almost gave me a heart attack plus I tripped and stumbled on numerous occasions as the path was really uneven and sometimes non existent. The flatter areas with crumbing buildings were fun and a little scary and sometimes we realised we were standing on roofs that were at breaking point.

At the very top of the walls we had an amazing view over the entire ...
