      ... kill before the next train up the Gold Coast. A cup of coffee and a browse of facebook we were ready for the 933am train. We made the train and the seats were comfy. After an hour of catching up on candy crush and watching the Glass Mountains from the window we arrived at Beerwah station. No it's not a pub. It's the closest station to the zoo and they have a shuttle ready and waiting for you there! We were greeted by a funny bus driver that cracked jokes all the way to the zoo. ...

      ... their end destination?

      We have a plan, well a detailed plan for five week plan spread sheeted out (care of Orren!), then once we get to Charlotte in North Carolina we will see where the world takes us.

      Boys did a great job on the long haul to LA. They were in 'hog heaven' watching every movie possible and critiquing Qantas plane food, which was surprisingly tasty.

      ... Sanitized for your protection" paper things on the toilet, but I'm pretty sure they just have a stock of them they need to use up.... And you can have a shower sitting on the loo. Handy for when you have Delhi belly I'm sure. Anyway, I'm struggling with a bit of jet lag, and how much to tip the bus boy (I think I gave him the equivalent of 20 cents... I panicked! Poor man.       ... for the one hour trip to Brisbane to our apartment, Docks on Goodwin, in the Kangaroo Point area on the edge of the river. The following day we drove 200km to Byron Bay and also stopped off on the Gold Coast on route. The Gold Coast seemed like one long beach with apartment blocks lining the coastline.
