    ... Split as I am writing. The water in the small harbor is like glass. More about today's adventures in the afternoon. I am returning to this blog sooner than expected. The land excursion operator changed the departure time of our first tour without any prior notification.     ... the Riva (the main boardwalk). We’re on the 5th floor with windows overlooking the square. It’s a studio on the top floor so it has the slanted, wood beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. Really lovely. Always so much to explore in a new city. Everything is unknown, waiting to be discovered. Until you get there, it’s just a map.

    ... manage to have small little coffee shops etc situated inside them. The town is exceptionally clean and tidy and must rate as one of the cleanest towns left on the planet. You could virtually eat your food off the floor. The temperature out here was well up in the 20s and walking around here in all bike gear was just too hot and so I had to find somewhere for a sit down and a coffee.     ... of food stalls, gelato and then we found the floaties! On the way back to our hotel we were stopped by a young kiwi guy trying to convince us to go on the pub crawl that night telling us it was 20EURO and it would be 'the best night ever' we politely took the brochure and thought to ourselves there was no way we were doing a pub crawl the night before our contiki... or at least thats what I thought... back to the hotel and surprise surprise WIFI only worked in ...

    ... in the right conditions, so much so that it had only been done 3 times in the 17 weeks that the sailing season had been going. The cave itself is entered through a small rock arch and once inside you are surrounded by the eerie blue glow of the water created from a deep outlet to from which the sun reflects in.
    From the Blue Cave we went on for a swim stop and to look at the poorer younger cousin of the Green Cave.
