    • Nice cathedral - everyone who enters puts holy water on their head
    • Dolac market (fresh fruit and veg, plus some souvenirs etc)

    ... of the beaches in Croatia were pebbly and the stones could hurt your feet. So we got some cheap ones for about £5.
