We arrived at our first destination Hvar, normally the rep would come on and say "Welcome to the sunniest island in Croatia, Hvar" but of course not. It poured rain and stormed. ... to a place that was less expensive than most touristy places in the Old Town. From there, we began climbing up Marjan Hill where we would be rewarded with a great viewpoint of the city. From here, we looked down and saw all of the red roofs from the Old Town and right beside it we saw the blue water of the Adriatic. The view was beautiful. Right beside the lookout at the top of the hill is an old Jewish cemetery. We walked around here for a ...

... of hot water but its sort of refreshing. The only problem is the mosquitoes!

We're slowly clearing some more land of trees and brush to make room for more tents for next summer- which is good, its not too physically demanding for me because I just pick up the brush and move it to another area.
