... been turned into a pedestrian square with more cafes than you can shake a stick at. I suspect that the palace itself is not quite in original condition either, but it is still said to be one of the most imposing Roman ruins in existence. To be honest I found it a little anti-climactic, but I had just come from Dubrovnik which would be a hard act for anywhere to follow.

We love this market, and plan to come every few days to hang out and patronize our favorite vendors. Our favorite find was an old oil jug used to bottle the wine from the backyard farmer, complete with taped on lid: )... we totally gotta try that! Wait, what is the Croatian number for 911? ...

We then all met up for lunch on the ‘aft’ deck, followed by a trivia challenge in the ‘Crow’s Nest’ where about 100 passengers, in teams of 6 or less, played one round of 17 trivia questions…we did pretty well scoring 10/17. From there we made our way to our rooms to change into bathers and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon by the pool.
