... so calm with these lovely clear waters, and you could see for a long way from the tower. The palace wasn't open until 12.30, but I suspect it wasn't anything like I had seen in Rome of Florence, so I wasn't too worried. The cathedral was closed, but then I saw a tour from my ship coming out of it. I was trying to convey to the man at the door that I was on the ship, and maybe if I had taken the excursion I would have been able to go in. Anyway, he then ushered me in, obviously ...

When we headed out Sibile said where we stopped for a break and lunch would depend on road and traffic conditions but we would end up in any one of a number of quaint villages in any case. That night we had the boogie jungle party which first started off with us drinking at this street party where ...

... 20 minutes we would see a small village with a handful of houses all with red roofs, a church and a beach that housed a few boats. This happened for the entire 4+ hours - it was like the Sea to Sky drive in BC - magnificent for the entire journey.

At one point we stopped at what I assumed was toll booth of some kind. I was ready for them to come tell me we all had to pay a toll. That was not the case but I understood to take your passports out - we ...

... Dalmatian folk songs, taking advantage of the vestibule's exceptional acoustics.

    .

The town itself is quite vibrant and obviously frequented by locals as well as tourists. We made our way through town past the cathedral and market square area and through the Silver Gate. Here we were challenged by 2 Roman Centurions but ...
