... bar. The beach is beautiful, the white sand seems to go on for miles and is really wide, definitely one of the best we've seen. The sun was so strong despite the clouds and wind and we both got a bit burned. After checking in we headed back to the beach for the lovely sunset and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Don't worry we're eating well. I don't have burger and chips for every meal, tonight I had pizza! ...

... table and 2 rocking chairs give it that old southern charm. Now all we need is a low country boil to complete the scene. As we explored the rest of the site we found that there is a fire pit, small market with Disney pins (my addiction will be satisfied), a pier that you can fish off of and a ping pong table and foosball (I’m hoping to take Alison on in this).

With our room overlooking the pool of course the kids went nuts ...

Since Louisiana we have been working our way east. This afternoon we made it to Savannah, Georgia and had a nice stroll around town. It is beautiful there! We'll be staying a few nights in a hotel which is a good thing seeing as there have been storms at night.

Yesterday we were in Columbus, Georgia which actually turned out to be a very nice city. We first, however, drove onto the military base by accident, which was pretty funny.
