So thankful for ricks driving.... Went through underground bridge, many long over the water bridges and lots of miles today. Saw Mississippi, Alabama, and now in Florida. Takes 2 days to get through Texas and 2 hours to get through Mississippi and Alabama. Drove through New Orleans but didn't stop. Do have an answer to one of our questions... They flew their routines for about 45 minutes. At times, they were going so fast and low that our eardrums were rattling. They did suggest ear plugs, but I think we forgot about that until it was too late. We ended up having not just one but eight—eight!!!—Gilles and Gilles-adjacent attendees at graduation, plus my older brother and his family, my older sister and her mother, as well as two of my sisters-in-law and their families. All told, my family took up two rows at graduation, and before I go any further, I would like to thank everyone in attendance. It really meant a lot to me.
