... The whole time the pages were trying to gee up the crowd and making everyone cheer and fake laugh and stuff, it was kinda lame. I got what I thought was a good seat, right in the front row of the mezzanine positioned straight in front of Dave's desk. However there was a big screen and lighting rig blocking my view of the top half of the stage so I couldn't see anyones head. Washington's Union Station (I think it's called Union Station..I made the determination that all train stations are called this - even confirmed with the conductor, LOL), we finally boarded the train. No roomette or sleeper car on this leg, but we didn't need it. B and I found a nice spot at a table in the lounge car. That worked out for me because my internet connection finally worked so I was able to get a good 4 hours of work in! YAY!

... now. There was a memorial there but you had to queue for tickets, and we found the free museum by the site interesting and informative enough anyway. Still so so sad reading about the events of that day..Crazy to walk around and think this was where it all happened!
