The Chicago skyline was much different at night than in the daylight. After weaving through traffic to get out of the city, we remembered how beautiful it was when we were here last. We wanted to get back on the road so we can stay on schedule to get to New Jersey by Tuesday.

This is where we started. We left McHenry, Illinois on Friday Sept 18th, and headed down to Chicago and skated the city a while. Woke up to a heavily overcast day with thunderstorms forecast, but we are still going to venture out! After breakfast, we hit the streets! Didn't take long to find the shops....hardly surprising really as the hotel is in the thick of it! Chicago is much better than New York, streets less crowded!

The journey over to that part of the world is a long one. We take a 13 hour flight to Tokyo, have a 3 hour layover, and then take another 7 hour flight down to Singapore. Ohare is one of the most less entertaining airports in the world there nothing to do a few shops to buy candy and a few food places thats it

To keep things interesting and to avoid that restless feeling of finishing up our long trip, we decided to move to Chicago. Well it didn't quite happen like that.
