... Vermilion through the fall, winter, spring, and summer. I promised Sassy and Odie they could be home for a good long time -- they've already found their old beds, toys, and hiding spots! After that we'll talk about what comes next -- as you can see from the state map there are still some states where we haven't traveled. Who knows . . . . . .

OK so this is my first post on this site.
Here are our stats for today.
Left Oceanport at 8:45am and arrived in Sandusky, OH at 6:45pm.
We traveled 545 miles on I-80 and it was a long and hot ride.
Tomorrow is Chicago which is 250 miles, so an easy ride compared to today.

... early due to torrential rain! We ended up packing up a bit early, we headed to a shelter for breakfast and then got back on the road. We were lucky that although some tents got wet, some areas of the campsite were almost completely flooded! ... as the sun rises. I can feel the change in the sky. We did not drive all night, though I was surprised to see how well we all did pulling off and sleeping at a wayside rest. Five hours! And I didn't even have to load/unload the tent and gear. Despite break in the clouds/rain, the ground and everything our gear would touch is completely soaked. Today we will look for ...

In 3 weeks we leave from Vermilion, OH, driving Dan's Ford F350 truck, to pick up our fifth wheel trailer which is stored in Huntsville, AL. Hopefully the weather will be good March 15th when we leave. At least it'll be better than the ...
