... highway, came over to Palm Desert, and did some exchanging/shopping, bought some wine, and went to Sun City to see Guy and Celine. We always have so much fun with them. They showed us pictures of their new condo in Montreal, and of their recent trip to Tahiti. This was all capped off by one of Celine's spectacular dinners. Golf tomorrow and Wednesday at Sun City.

Today we drove from Sequoia and Kings Canyon down through Southern California. ... Coachella is the home also of the fabulous music festival, The Coachella Music Festival, held in April. The headliners this year are The Rolling Stones. We hope to be long gone from the area by then. And it is VERY expensive, costing upwards of $1000 a piece for what I believe is a three-day event. The following weekend is a music festival catering to the country music lovers, The Stagecoach Festival. That would be more to my liking, but it’ll be hot and crowded. ...
