  • Truett Hurst. It was a beautiful vineyard with great staff. We didn’t have to pay for the wine tasting again since Ben called before our arrival. We tried the Zinfandel Rose (very fruity and sweet wine) which Tez loved, Swallowtail C******nay (soft), Black Sheep Pinot Noir (too much wood on it) which I didn’t like, White Sheep Pinot Noir, Rattler Rock Zinfandel, Red Rooster Zinfandel, Burning Man Petite Sirah. We made our way back to find the spot more crowded than it had been in the chilly morning. We unpacked our camping chairs and the picnic lunch we had bought and waited. We didn't see any more whales but we had enjoyed a day that we'll never forget. Enjoy the pics.

Had a day with some friend's of Dads - Patrick and Agnes Connolly who took us around some fantastic local Sedona Russian River wineries where we sampled and drank a good amount of Californian wine.
It was thoroughly enjoyable, and highly recommended!
