... saw the shrine of remembrance, a memorial originally build in remembrance of the men and women of Victoria that served in the First World War, government house, Fitzroy gardens, a tall ship, and many many more. we had stopped there instead! Arrived at St Kilda to pay the most expensive car
park fee in Australia - $12 for 4 hours!!!! Not a good start. Decided to hit the
shops to get some shade and out of the heat. Passing Luna Park and the Palace
Theatre Chris noticed a poster advertising forthcoming acts. “Rick Astley is

... s on the Southbank. You can imagine the scene: many nice bars with outside seating and heating overlooking the city on the other side. We felt very lucky sitting there watching the world go by while keeping nice and toasty. We had a tipoff about a cool fire show that happens outside the Crown Casino so we headed there.
