    ... border of Arizona - Cali - Mexico. It was incredibly hot and we got to our site after dark so it was a short visit. The drives through Utah and Arizona were very quiet. It's all desert with deserted small towns and nothing to see - except for a huge snake that we saw on our way out of the state!     The best part of the day for me though, was shopping at Carlsbad Premium Outlets in the afternoon! It is definitely something we will go back to before we leave San Diego, as it is so vast a whole day there wouldn't even touch the sides!
