... boat captains so we wouldn’t be able to leave until 02:00. The captain said it wasn’t a problem as the tugs weren’t needed anyway he could manage with the bow thrusters, oh no you can’t came the response it’s mandatory to use the tugs, check mate to the Argies. ... not for the penguins. They were lying, standing and waddling along the tourist paths. So funny, I was tempted to pick one up and take it home as they were only 30 cms high at their biggest. Easily get that in my daysack!

... no money at all in the machine. Its was sunday after a long weekend and it seemed none had been topped up. we managed to pool our money together and pay for the majority of the trip, and trapsed out of town to the last place we could think of that had an ATM, the bus staion. Our luck was in and no longer penniless we had money to pay for the rest of the trip in the morning when we were to be picked up from our hostel.

... rabbits (who knew) call
the peninsula home. (Those rabbits look like beagles with long legs).
This is also the only place in the world where orcas (Free Willys) come on the beach to snatch baby elephant seals. Awhhh...

Unfortunatly I didnt see any orcas or killing of any animals, but we did manage to catch some awesome penguins laying their eggs with some baby chicks.These penguins live in holes! Who knew?
