Poppiano is a small community close to our villa.
There is a very large castle, where people live.
It is a wine making community. There are solar panels on the hillside and the wine making vats are very well hidden so as to not disrupt the beautiful landscape.

It didn't take long for our ride to become very enjoyable, soon after leaving the city center we were able to hook up with a secondary road which was going in the right direction but did not bypass all of the cool little towns along the way, it is really quite an experience of twisting and turning roads and breathtaking scenery.....and that is with the vines bare we can only imagine how gorgeous it must be at harvest ...
