    ... note one can see the impact of Austerity on the Greek people, a lot of closed down shops etc. Streets are also not looking to great as municipalities are squeezed for cash. Arrived in Naxos around 13h30, and had an adventure walking to our hotel, but managed to get there in decent time. Great location, around 10 minutes to the port. Had a walk to the beach, ...

    I then went for a private wander around the Castro which was the area established by the Venetians many centuries ago.     ... they clipped our gear to the outside of the RIB. Wondering what on earth was going on I hauled myself on to the side of the RIB intending to climb in only to see it was pretty much full of water. Ah, that’s why they were ignoring us.
