... and ended it with a nice cool beer and a passionfruit mojito for Lisa. I got a very cold beer photo, with me in the water with the beer. As of now it's been a great way to try take a cool photo every day. Great challenge Gaz. Afterwards we settled the bill and headed home. We had a quick shower and then enjoyed a nice easy drinking bottle of Rose next to the pool. Bed time was soon after. Sad face. Last day on ...

We were too late to go to restaurant for dinner so we decided to order fried cheese (Greek people ...

... on the road. In some areas we were quite high up overlooking cliffs and in steep valleys where the only living thing we could find were goats. We eventually got to the turn off down a steep hill into Apollonas and were greeted with a super pretty little harbour with a couple of sleepy restaurants dotted along the waterfront. We picked the one that seemed the busiest and settled in for a late lunch. We still had a lot of scootering to get back home before dark so ...

... a small hike up the side of a mountain. The Greek goddess Demeter is the goddess of harvest, fertility and the cycle of life and death. This site, built in 530 B.C., was much more preserved than those we saw in Athens and the entire temple was made of marble. The island of Naxos is the most green and fertile land in all the Cyclades. They believe this is due to the Temple of Demeter; but it's really just the mountains "catching" the moisture. Throughout ...
