          ... night, I said to Keith is it safe to travel today, as the winds were so strong he said we will give it a go if not ok we will stop so off we set travelling was not to bad stopped for a break at Eden wow the wind was so strong it was difficult to stand up straight, no boats were out, after our coffee Keith had to hold on to me and the car door otherwise I would have ended up at sea!!! Spoke to some people who said they had stayed at Mallacoota for 2 nights 95k winds ...

          ... and chase the ball. Thu 13-Mar-2014 -------------------- Started the day walking Pepper on the Lake Curalo Boardwalk to the beach. I dont think there is a nicer way to start the day. Drove to Ben Boyd National Park, to see Boyd's Tower, Davidson's Whaling Station, Green Cape Lighthouse and the Disaster Bay lookout. Filled up the first/main gas bottle, so we are ready for more free camping. This is our last day in the NSW South Coast. Its off to Victoria ...

          ... I crossed several lakes today which was beautiful. The whole days riding was spent surrounded by mountains and me hoping I wouldn't have to go up too many of them... Basically if I could see it, I was probably going to have to go up it! This morning after waking up cold at 4 again! Really need a sleeping bag.           ... people, weird products, weird everything. On top of that, it is pouring rain. But the lady at checkout is really nice and friendly so who cares. We get what we need and finally, at 6.30pm, we ring the doorbel at the Twofold Bay Beach Resort.

          Depending on the weather, we are going to drive straight down to Melbourne or take it easier and stop for the night somewhere inbetween. It’s some 500+ km to go.

          That’s it for now. It’s been a crazy day. Goodnight everyone ...

          ... had our sagging moods.

          Lakes Entrance is a beautiful spot with water all around. We were amazed at the number of van parks there so it must be a hot spot in summer. We chose a park across the road from the rather up-market Bowls Club and quite near the waterfront, so dinner was sorted and there were plenty of places to walk. I was also able to use the laundry to dry all that was wet from the morning before.
