... it has reflections and lots of houses down to the water. As soon as you looked away from the river, it was really dry and barren but still hilly. So like Kamloops. We turned again at Pateros and headed along a smaller river and through an area that had massive bushfires go through it. Today we had an email from Mike Green he and Roger are in Beaver Creek in the Yukon and are enjoying their ride although the roads they have travelled have had a lot of damage as Alaska has had the coldest winter in 45 years so there is a lot of roadworks happening. Alaska could be very challenging.
