      ... in a few shops but nothing took my fancy. There were people on the street handing out Topshop gift cards to promote their new 5th Avenue store which has recently opened. We got a gift card each as they apparently had at least $20 on them but could be up to $1000. So we went and checked out the shop but it was manic in there and they had a DJ playing and celebs but we didn't see any. People were going crazy for Topshop, to me it's nothing ...

      ... and we have well and truly worn ourselves out in the process. I love New York but I don't think I would want to live here, the constant crowds and lining up for everything would wear thin after a while. It is no small wonder that New Yorkers yell at people to get out of the way or wait their turn since this is their lot every day of their lives. You would get impatient pretty quickly. Tomorrow we head to LA. I can't believe our month-long sojourn is almost over- where did all that time ...

      ... Turned out to be this really nice English guy who was in his third year of studying some German clever nonsense in newark and was returning for the beginning if term. Nothing special on flight terms, few bumps here and there. Landing was pretty cool. The sun was setting just as we landed so managed to get a few shots - unfortunately they are on my phone so can't upload them right at the moment. Got taxi to hotel and zonked out for the night. Tomorrow's journey awaits ...

      ... below were fire engines, police cars and even the fallen antenna from atop the North Tower, now just a mangled web of steel.

      We ended up spending a lot longer in the museum than intended, but it was really big and took a while to get around. Eventually we got outside, and after a brief look at the north pool, walked along a few blocks until we reached Wall Street. Greeting us right on the corner was the New York Stock Exchange, and the street was just a row ...
