... car driver told us about on the way up. About 1/10th of what we paid him!! so good balance :). Stopped in a few shops along the way - seems the other end of town has the "reasonable' shops - found shoes and a few fun things to share with the kids upon return/Xmas etc. Was fun to see them make Oplatky's too - thin thin wafer pancake-size cookies with all sorts of flavours in them. On our own again - to Karlovy Vary!
... feel like royalty. Lamborghini in the drive of the hotel. Very little English spoken here - almost to the point of being humourous as the grumpy server for lunch exhibited. Nice chap behind us taught us our first Russian word - for spoon - Luska! Many Russians!! I feel thin again!! but am not! Was so nice to finally find a good salad just with grilled chicken for lunch. Strolled the streets - one side then down ...

Day 10 - Karlovy Vary the old spa town
... of the only English speaking pairs about. The tour started and we realized it was an English and Spanish tour... The tour guide could speak clearly in Czech, English and Spanish! It was pretty impressive. It was about a 2 hour journey to Karlovy Vary and along the way I again saw snow on the sides of the road!
