... Tuesday evening. Today, two field groups started on different sides of the butte. The plan for these groups was to traverse, and cross paths at the top. One group's plan was to go up a different side, essentially doing a loop and going down much the same way. Everyone was excited for the hike, and all the kids encouraged each other up the steep climb. The sun was shining, and the weather was perfect. The total hike for each group was just under ...

Tomorrow, we head through Idaho to Salt Lake City, Utah, to the border of Nevada.
... early for a complimentary Mountain Host ski tour.
Our host Neil took us right across the resort from the most northerly lifts and runs to the most southerly. A great introduction to the mountain...a quick way to find the fastest lifts, restaurants, different levels of runs and a lot of information about the area.
