... Hole. The scenery was beautiful, and we crossed over the Continental Divide. Students learned that in this spot, water will either run into the Pacific Ocean or the Mississippi River depending on where it flows. We were also able to get a great view of the Teton Mountain Range along the drive into town.

We were up early again, so we could squeeze in some extra holiday by driving through Yellowstone Park through the South Entrance and on through the Grand Tetons.

The huge reservoir we passed awhile back in the reservation filters the water leaving behind the silt that is flowing down from the mountains. Andrew had said that we would be wowed by the contrast of the grassy plains to the Grand Tetons. He was right; wow what a sight it is. Just before we ...

... had been in the car all day and there was only one other car in the parking lot, so I "accidentally" missed the no dogs sign. Besides, the other sign recommended traveling in groups of three because of grizzly bears in the area. She was our third. After the natural bridge I suggested we go check out Old Faithful. I mean, why not it was only another 22 miles or so... It was starting to snow harder and it was getting dark, but we were determined to see what I ...
