Exploring Skaithos
... of tomatoes, which I love but Dave hates…I think it will be very different at the conference, they always try to impress. The olives are fantastic and the wine from Thessaloniki area is very good…there is a wine cheese reception that we are looking forward to at the conference. More later…love to all.

Hills, Monasteries, Goats and Sheep
... toured an area by ATV we just took off down any dirt road or trail..the guy at the front desk said we couldn't get lost on the island. He was right! I am including some of the incredible pictures, needless to say we fell inlove with both this mode of travel and the Island of Skiathos... there is an incredible charm to the island, it has beautiful vistas of the Aegean Sea and spectacular beaches everywhere!
So..back to my rental story...we decide to keep ...
Touring Skiathos by Boat
Sunday we took a boat tour around the island, 7 hours with multiple stops and secluded beaches for swimming. The water is still quite cold so only the hardy swim...obviously not us! The boat was filled with many Britts and American students on semester abroad. The scenery was incredible, many caves, rock arches and distant islands.
