    2 hour flight to Philadelphia + 20 min train ride to center city + 2 hour wait/lunch + 1.5 hour bus ride later... I am at Lehigh University!!! It is a gorgeous campus with a lot of hills and concrete steps. The midday heat rivaled that of Atlanta. I managed to get checked in, shower and nap before going to an all staff dinner!     ... sheer frustration or actual inability to keep going. So the upshot of that is that my insoles now cost more than my actual shoes. I didn't expect the cheap shoes to last to Katahdin, but I felt that if they lasted a couple hundred miles at least, they would fulfill their purpose.
