... the afternoon falling over. It had been a while.
For the last few days we have been up at the ski hills, getting better everyday and absolutely loving it. Keystone is huge, with the gondola taking 10 minutes to reach the top of the run. We've had some big falls but keep coming back each day and doing it again.
We've been camping on the fringe of town and it's starting to get cold. It's expected to get as low as -15 degrees by the end of the week which should be interesting!

Very pristine environment above the tree line. Not a good place to be in the middle of winter.....
Beautiful views and the Aspen trees just beginning to change colour as winter approaches....

... It was too small for an adult, really... Well it was at the end, anyway. Maybe I shouldn't have followed. I couldn't turn around, and it suddenly went down hill. The girl in front of me said "it's ok, just watch out for the puddle at the end". So I slid head first through the narrow opening into the puddle at the end. Ice is cold. When you are wet, and it's -5 degrees, you don't dry quickly. Anyway, Breckinridge is definitely ...
