The accommodation for everybody on board starts on C deck and as your status increases, so too does your deck letter with the Captain and Chief Engineer sharing G deck. (Loaded as we are, no cabins from C to G have a view forward or aft.) We spent the morning strolling thru Heraklion. The tourist season is mainly over here as well. Also, it was Sunday so not many shops were open. We saw a lot of well dressed locals, probably all returning from church.

Ahhh Crete. One of the many fantastic places I have been wanting to visit during my time here in Greece. My journey began with a ten hour ferry ride from Peiraeus to Heraklion (Athens to Crete).
