... taxi when we exited. No customs! A quick ride maybe 20 minutes brought us to central Vienna and our hotel - Alma boutique hotel. Our room is quite spacious for Europe. There is a lovely jetted tub in the room with a separate large walk in shower, at least a queen sized bed very comfy, a futon couch and lots of cupboards. We are on the 7 th floor and from here there is access to the roof top terrace which is small but has lovely views over the roof ...

... staff were very welcoming despite being very busy and we think they do not get too many tourists there. We headed back to the cottage by U in time for a siesta and on the way we found a cafe for dinner just two blocks away so that is where the day will end. It is a three-countries corner, Slovenia, Austria and Italy. Garry told us ...

... a great collection to see.

When we left The Treasury we went to rest our feet by sitting down near the Roman ruins at the front of the palace. We had been there for 5 or 10 minutes when Derek spied Erin entering St. Michael's Church just across the street. So we got up and followed her inside. Was she ever surprised to see us. We weren't supposed to meet her until 5:00 and then quite a distance from where we were. When ...

After aiming to catch a earlish train from Salzburg to Vienna as we were sick of the rain, our train experienced technical faults and ended up being almost an hour late. The irony was that we should have caught the train that left 4 minutes later, because it didn't take long to see that train pass us. As both me and Meghann had our respective train and plane to catch the next day, we had precious little time in Vienna, so we were both a little annoyed that the train ...
