... and a short video. James loved it! We had to hire some boots, gloves and pants so I look like a bloated midget in some of the photos. James has the knack for driving in the snow! It was a lot of fun.

Million Dollar Highway
... rose and fell with the elevation with a low of 9C. The last Pass I went through the temperature went from 10C to 20C in a matter of minutes. The scenery went as well from tall mountains and valleys covered with lush greenery to small hill like mountains in a desert setting around Durango
That's going to be my scenery from now on being in the Southern US with tomorrow I will be exploring Mesa Verde National Park. Need to lather up on the sun screen.

4th of July Durango style!

After breakfast we decided to take the trolley up the road a couple of miles to the local grocery store to stock up on a few items since we will be in smaller towns for the next little while. As it turned out, it was a small chain store that is owned by Kroger so our Kroger card gave us the sale prices which was nice.
