After the rafting a few of us went to a little pub for lunch, I got the Shepard's pie cause it said it came with fresh veggies, it didn't and it tasted like ****!! Nathan got pulled pork taco and it was effing delish, I had total food envy :(Anyway kept this one short, after Vegas and the GC so it's not to long for you babes.

... back and forth over the Animas River (rafters, kayakers and paddle boarders) multiple times, had Crepes at Dan and Sue's Belgium friends café, spent some great time hanging at there house and watched the bikers race the train. It was a blast and I know we will be back some day, but for now we are off to Zion.

Thanks Again Ammann's. You were exactly what Siena and Owen were looking for. I would have to say that was the best detour we have ever taken!

A few hours down the road we stopped for lunch in Koyenta, Arizona where we bought some cereal bars and mints from the supermarket to snack on. We also popped in to the McDonalds there to share a box of 10 chicken nuggets between the two of us for a quick snack as we weren't particularly hungry. There were lots of stray dogs at this rest stop wandering around ...

... Pass to enjoy the sun, snow and mountains. That evening we planned to spend with the Butzens so we could indulge on crab legs, steak, twice baked potatoes, salad, and drinks. Another night of delicious food! We couldn't believe we were spending the holidays with our best friends, the Butzens!! You still have to pinch us because we can't believe we live in the same town.
