          ... br>

Five days went fast and we found ourselves sitting on another airplane with boys in our laps, this time non-stop from Minneapolis to Detroit. Similar to the flight from Denver we lucked out in some ways and had some tiring moments in other ways. Spirit airlines treated us well...Bennett and I had a whole row to ourselves, three seats! Reid and Chip sat in front of us ...

If only time would freeze.

We rang in the new year slightly worn ...

... my masters in patience and I consider my internship the first two months of the boys' life. I lost my cool plenty of times, I cried, I threw things at walls (no, not babies), I wasn't sure what we had gotten ourselves into. Around months three and four, there was chaos but I began to embrace it. It was then that I learned I truly enjoyed motherhood. Months five and six were a game changer for me, I was so madly ...

As a matter of principle we stay off the Interstate Freeways which are extraordinarily efficient and extraordinarily boring . For our run north to Leavenworth, however, we made an exception, found the fastest roads available and charged up through Missouri towards Kansas City. Our window of opportunity for this visit was tight but we had not seen our friends Russ and Sue for many years and we were determined not to let this opportunity pass. With an early start we were finding ...
