Walked down to the river. An enormous storm years ago had flattened numerous big trees, now lying on the river bank.

Parked at the visitor centre and did a short walk - the Hot Springs nature trail. Like Longmire, there was a resort and bath house here until the 1920s.

Then walked to the Grove of the Patriachs. An amazing island in the Ohanapecosh river, filled with huge Western Redcedars, Western Hemlock and Douglas Firs, many 200 years old. ...

Today we had to wake up early again to go to the Crime and Punishment Museum. We took the metro down, and then we had to wait a while until one of the staff opened the door. When it opened, we followed the rope to the start of our mission. Our first activity was to choose a profile of someone on the ...

We woke up a little later than we would have liked, we had 10 minutes to go and eat to the breakfast before the buffet closed, and I have never seen Alyssa out the door so fast (that is after she finally got out of bed). So we ate and packed and jumped in our rental car. IT WAS AWESOME!!! It was a Ford cruiser!! It had 8 seats!!!!! I was in love!!!! <3 XD We headed down the road and stopped in an Amish village and market. The ...

Day one in America ... Waaa it sure is chilly here as we set off to the White House, police surrounded the fences and getting a good piccy was made very hard! The rain then started to come down... So we headed fro breakfast in the hope it would pass.... It didn't and once we got to monument after, we were soaked and freezing and decided not to stick to the original plan and headed to the museums. First stop the natural history museum which was incredible ...
