We intended to get two doughnuts for Shannon & Johnny, tasted them, found that they were obviously freshly baked, gave up on our already stiff with rigor mortis low-carb diet, and went back and got a Valrhona chocolate doughnut for ourselves because how could we not. ... for the Brooklyn Nets game at 7.30. The easy 1 hr bus ride down turned into a long 2.5 hr trip home in traffic, then the subway home to get the tickets and another subway over to Brooklyn for the game.
