... at South Ferry. We walked across Battery Park to the Castle to exchange our ore booked vouchers to tickets. We were lucky enough to have booked our tickets advance enough to get pedestal and crown admission, which doesn't cost any extra but they only release so many tickets for this access a day. Up at 4.30am this morning and at Penn Station at 5.30am for my 6am train.

This is the first of a few 13 hour Amtrak journeys I'm taking over the next few weeks.

After dinner I walked down to the seaport to get my cruise: Statue at Night with NY watertaxi/Circle Line Downtown.
