... Bryan and the kayaker can go under it though.
The support boat had to wait in the shade of the Hudson Bridge. (Thank you Henry).
Bryan had requested tea on his next feed but we lost all the hot water before Bryan's swim had even started! Luckily we had made up iced tea and added maple syrup to it last night so he can have that.

Since our walk down 47th Street, I have discovered that there are 4000 jewellers and wholesalers in that area. I have read of the area being a 'huge shark tank' and not the ideal place to make a jewellery purchase !

On Times Square is a big souvenir shop by the name of Grand Slam. It was really good for gifts.

We caught a cab back to the bus stop, but it was so slow we just missed the bus! the thick traffic in Manhattan does not make taxi travel ...

... two days early, on Wednesday. Thank god for small mercies. My first day in New York I headed into Times Square, and to see the Museum of Modern Art, as they have free entries on Friday nights, saving me $28. Tuesday 24/3 - Travel day. We ordered a taxi last night for a 9:15am pickup but it didn't turn up on time so the door man got another for us.
