New York, my favourite city on Earth! This is the fourth time I've been and every time its been really sunny and blue skies. When we arrived it was cloudy and raining, we dumped our bags and went to Grand Central on the first day and when we came out the other side it was sunny and its been blue skies since!

First point of call - Times Square the off to one of my favourite destinations, Grand Central ...

Dropping bags and we were off to see the Statue of Liberty, or well, not really. We skipped the long lines and the payment to see it, we took the free ferry that passes right beside the Statue of Liberty. It was a lovely view indeed! After that, we walked straight up, passed a little park, World Trade Center, Brooklyn Bridge, all ...

... the Brooklyn Bridge. On the way to the bridge we had a quick drive through Chinatown and saw the lamp posts that little pagodas on top. As we were getting our photos of the Brooklyn Bridge, we noticed that the flags on top of the two pillars/towers were white and that there were a lot of flashing lights in the middle of the Bridge. Unknown of us at the time, it would appear that during the night, people had climbed to the top of the bridge and replaced the USA flags with flags ...
