... won’t need to eat now until we get home. We chatted the afternoon away, well Claire and Lisa did, when those two get going about the uni days!!!! We had a very peaceful afternoon and struck lucky on happy hour, so we couldn’t not have half price afternoon cocktails, could we? Then peace was shattered when the karaoke started. As I walked out to dinner and back, I realized that the sounds I thought were man made alarms were, in fact, nature created--tree frogs. How I'd even missed that shows how long I've lived in the concrete jungle. My aunt loved frogs and I was instantly reminded of her and her love of travel. She'd be happy to know I was doing this and would make some ...

... gardens, except when you pass by them, they go "THP" and disappear into their tube "stems." Oh, Travis's favorite were these "snakes" that hid out in the sand. Dave dug one up and we played with it, but then he wiggled backwards into the sand to hide from us. Then, all of a sudden, as we were looking at the sandy bottom, we could tell that they were all around -- their little heads sticking up from the sand, looking like stems of plants. I guess ...
