      ... the famous annual Parksville beach festival will run from July 13 to August 18. Surprisingly, we have actually heard of this festival and its international sand sculpture competition. Today is the 12th, so preparations are underway for the crowds tomorrow. Nanette and I wander over to the fenced off enclosure where the sculptures will emerge.

      ... Endlich mal ne Garage der man vertrauen kann.

      Nun zu Qualicum Beach. Na ja, viele alte Menschen und nichts los da. Wir gingen minigolfen in einem typischen amerikanischen Minigolfplatz mit Windmühlen und all dem Zeugs. Wir gingen auch nach Long Beach und Tofino, leider nur für ne kurze Zeit, da das Auto zu viel Zeit schluckte.
      Also gingen wir nach Vancouver zurück zur anderen Garage, die schauten das Problem an, und reparierten es gratis. Danke.
