On the way down the intermediate slopes which were very technical for someone who had never even mountain biked before Bushell stopped to ask a guy which was the best way down. He said the expert double black diamond run was the best and if we took out time we would be fine. Let's just say if I could have closed my eyes the whole way I would have. That evening, not much to do expect, you guessed, crack open a few beers. We did try for some food, but it was so disgusting that it's not even worth mentioning here.. So, Mammoth Lakes was a little disappointing, albeit very pretty and would be good if we were hikers, and Yosemite was great, but we couldn't help but compare it to other national parks that we had visited.
