Its water has a very peculiar chemical composition. Its salt content is 3 times more the one of the Pacific Sea and water is very alcaline. ... and how far down we are looking to the valley below. We see huge waterfalls below us that look like the size of pencils.

We take tons of pictures and walk to several of the different viewpoints to see the cliffs and valley. I am so glad we drove to Glacier Point. It has to be the best part of this whole park!

... wonder if they were turned off by the sunscreen I had layered on. Despite this minor annoyance, I found myself feeling giddy. My love for travel was renewed by this unexpected discovery.
