After a short night we went for one last breakfast at the Calypso restaurant at 6.00h since we had to leave the ship at 7.30h already. The transfer to the airport was as always well organized by AIDA.
Thankfully, Iberia was not on strike that day and so our flight to Zurich via Madrid went smooth and we arrived home in the evening.

We had 2 great weeks with nice weather, good food, unforgettable impressions and lots of fun.

El que fuera mi último viaje con Spanair empezó en Barcelona con Enric destino el aeropuerto de Gran Canaria. Desde el aeropuerto de Gran Canaria hay autobuses cada hora hasta Playa del Inglés, donde nos alojábamos.

... aus dem Flugzeug gesehen habe, bin ich auf der richtigen Insel gelandet. Thomas, der Skipper von der Good Fortune Yacht, musste noch ein Ersatzsegel am Flughafen abholen und gemeinsam mit dem Besitzer der Yacht sind wir direkt zum Hafen gefahren. Die letzten 4 Tagen habe ich damit verbracht, das Deck zu schrubben, Kleider waschen, einkaufen, Motor reparieren (d.h. Übersetzer für den Mechaniker sein), Kabinen reinigen und mich mit dem Schiffsleben vertraut zu machen. Vorerst ...
