    ... cords that wouldn't work, USBs that disconnected from the computer with no warning, files that wouldn't transfer, eeekkk! and this morning was no different. The Surface Pro wouldn't start, black screen of nothingness. Insert groan, swearing, and possibly tears in here.     Left Blackheath about 9.30 for the drive to Sydney. As usual a nice easy drive. Found the hotel about 11.30 but nowhere to park the car or even pull in while we dropped the bags off. Ended up having to pay $20 for 1/2 hour in an underground park. What a rip off.

    We were supposed to lose Wednesday this time around, but it would have been Ash Wednesday and there was a lot of grumbling by the passengers.
