Funnily enough we ended up seeing the two Geordie girls who we met on the night ferry from Koh Tao to Krabi. ... Me and Micha both compared it to Jurassic park. It was a great time, and the weather was perfect for the zoo. 21 degrees with a nice breeze. I even got to pet the kangaroo in the picture I've attached! We're currently trying to fight our jet lag right now by hanging outside of our hostel. Fish 'n' chips were enjoyed by Kiama Beach (along with a lovely swim and proper chill-out time soaking up the rays) and a full-English breakfast was Heaven on Earth one of the mornings.

(Sydney's harbour has been called the most beautiful in the world. For me, the more compelling thing is just how big it is. There are literally miles and miles of water in Sydney harbour, because it comes in so far inland, and because there are so many bays. At Darling Harbour, they have done a wonderful job of turning it into a fantastically usable network of hotels, casinos and restaurants.)
