... Circle Quay was excellent and so centrally located .
the next morning we flew to Melbourne. We stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree Flint street and didn't like it at all. The location is great, just across the Central Station but we were not impressed with the service. Within a walking distance there was a free tram # 35 which takes you around the CBD. Melbourne has a great network of public transportation. There is a competition between the 2 cities . Sydney is more of ...

After the heat of the day in the Botanical Gardens, the freezing airconditioning was a hit too! Then ...

... It was a bit cloudy to start but I insisted we kept walking until the clouds had drifted leaving a beautiful blue sky over the Opera House, the things you do to get a good picture (like father like daughter!). After waking almost the entire length of the bridge we turned back and walked back to the quay and stopped off for a coffee and a Gylian chocolate shop. After all the walking we thought we deserved a treat so we indulged in a Belgian brownie and a ...

Straight on it upon waking with a weeks worth of uploading pics still to be added. Solidly worked from 8-11am to catch up on blog. Andy sat out to soak up the morning glory and came in to watch sunrise TV, but soon got bored of sitting around watching the box. So he diverted his attention to breakfast, lovingly presenting me with a pancake stack filled with strawberries and cream. Munching that in no time at all, with Andy setting off the fire alarm making ...
