    ... patio and up above that a huge pergola that Jim has built which shades a rockery garden and pools, and down below the gardens the forest fringes the property. Rudi offered to move in and help Jim with his gardens, he was in heaven and completely in awe of all the gorgeous flowers - they both had to be dragged indoors - lunch was ready!

    ... a nice place and particularly down by the river. From Taree it was on to Port Macquarie, where we made it at about 1pm, having lunch and then a swim at Town Beach. The kids loved it, as they finally got to have a swim and play in the ocean, the Pacific Ocean! After our swim we checked into the caravan park just to get booked in and get our bearings.     ... like a log". Cold, sunny start and after coffee, got out the Baby 'Q' & had bacon, eggs & tomato for breakfast (Oh how the poor live!). Set up solar panel, fitted inverter and set up Wi-Fi(good signal). Got and cut up more wood & after lunch walked around the old homestead, photographing the "huge" Stag & Elkhorns & the very old Jacaranda trees.
