    We left early this morning as we made our way toward Steamboat Springs, which is a popular ski and spa resort. Our first stop was close to Granby, and was at a beautiful lake. Filled with ducks, geese, and other water birds, it was lovely setting. There is a car park, with telescopes, and picnic facilities on the outside of the fence surrounding the lake, which would be a perfect location for bird watchers and other interested people.     ... the 9th! So after being woken up at 3am when I could have slept 45 extra minutes, I finished my packing and went down to the lobby to wait for my pick up. There were quite a few people going to the airport for the UAL 6am flight from the Sheraton.     ... of the demo locations run by the ski corp but I stuck with the new Pro shop since they were the only location that had the Rossignols which I’d been wanting to try.
