    Most people say they get their neck strengthened by just doing shrugs.. But that isn't gonna be enough. You have to treat your neck muscle the same as any other muscle giving it regular isolated work.

    Steamboat is 2100 metres above sea level. The top of the mountain where the ski lift ends is 3100 m, which, obviously is 3 km high ! The first few days we suffered with slight headaches, but now it is better. It is very cold, especially for us to come from a tropical country! Yesterday was sunny but it was still -13°.Absolutely beautiful snow, picture postcard. A lot of beautiful people around, they all look like celebrities. Lots of money !

    ... and switched my skis to the Nordica Hells Bells in 154. I didn’t care for these, they enticed me into the backseat and I felt like I had to be “on them” all the time; just felt like too much ski for me. They wouldn’t have been my choice of Nordica models to try, as they are stiffer and wider than what I wanted but they didn‘t have the ones I wanted, so I figured what the heck and tried them anyway.

    ... got a margarita, side order of chile con queso, tortilla soup and cheese enchiladas for the entrée. For dessert I got the fried ice cream which is covered in slivered almonds and served with chocolate, raspberry and caramel sauces and cinnamon whipped cream.

    After dinner I sat in the hot tub once again.
