+ Day 39. Sunday 21st September. Rawlins to Big Sandstone Creek. We planned to ride 52.9 miles today. We stopped after 49. The wind made riding impossible. If we tell you that we took only two photos during the whole day, you'll probably get an idea of what things were like. For twenty miles we continued to ride through barren, featureless desert. After skiing I once again sat in the hot tub for a bit before taking the Orange Line bus to Rex’s. I’d never been to Rex’s before so I tried a few things. I got the Pork Green Chili which came with a small cheese quesadilla. Then I got the cheddar mac with bacon and tomato and finally the Brownie Sundae for dessert. I enjoyed everything I ordered there and would return again.

... discuss/explain all your options to you. At 6:30pm you move into the dining room. Dinner was a salad for me, beef with salsa fresca hollandaise and a whipped potato and dessert was molten chocolate cake with homemade peanut butter ice cream. Dinners always feature one appetizer (which I rarely like so I just get a salad) and 3 entrees to choose from. Dessert is usually a set item. Tonight’s cake with the peanut butter ice cream was one of my favorites! Some ...
