... because Jordan and Maya had to stop every 500 feet to look out at the mountains, take photos and take it all in. The views were absolutely amazing. When we were in this one valley area, we saw a place in the middle of no where where you can rent ATV's (all terrain vehicles) - otherwise known as quads. ... of Aspen was about five times bigger than our previous visit. Traffic congestion started at Buttermilk as one lane was reserved for buses and the other lanes had to merge. I remember the nice bus system where you could ski one resort in the morning and hop on the bus and quickly get to another in the afternoon. That must still work well. We stopped at the chamber ...

... the moment we crossed into Utah it went up to 102, finally, 'cooling' down to 99 degrees by 7pm!!! We decided to stay in a hostel and the great surprise is it is air-conditioned! What a great choice THAT was. ... it now!!! Oh my! We had dinner listening to two oldies sing country music and even had a song dedicated to us! When coming down Independents Pass to find our campground...we saw a BEAR run across the road!!!! It was so exciting to see a bear that was absolutely in its own element...he/she was smart enough to run like hell across the street...I. Was so happy that he looked perfectly healthy.. Waiting for lions and tigers ...
