... as much ruckus and noise as we could in support of the skiers as they came down the hill. Although I was disappointed that one of our favourites, the Norwegian Viking Axel Lund Svindal, was injured and not racing we could not have been more pleased than to see his compatriot, Kjetil Jansrud, fly down the difficult course to win from the Swiss Beat Feuz. ... at night after dinner is so pretty as the trees are lit up with lights, there is an ice skating rink in the middle of the plaza which the children enjoy and all the shops are open till around 9pm. Love to window shop. They are very expensive but they are so different to anything we see at home, it is enjoyable to see what is on offer and at what price. They certainly cater for those on a million dollar plus income that's for sure.

... found out were made of gypsum. In actual fact they mine gypsum in this area. Whenever I use gypsum on the garden again I am sure I will think of this drive. We came across a flock of wild turkeys near the rest stop. Amazing they survived Thanksgiving!

Woke with an air of expectation this morning as yesterday had been mindblowingly good. It was a cool, crisp morning around -7c. Felt just like home! Scrambled once again up the snow covered hill to the grandstand. The World Cup Ladies Slalom Course was all laid out and we were able to see it from top to bottom.
