It was a bit disappointing to see that the paver bricks that were donated over the years and were placed around the statue are neglected and in part, have sunk. ... as the one and a half hour event turned into three hours of wonderful stories and songs. Alas it was over all too soon, and after a quick lunch, we went up to the Aspen Chapel to attend the Pete Huttlinger, Chris Nole, and Mack Bailey event, which was to begin at 2pm. Winterskol - Aspenglow
Today we have woken up to some rather unpleasant weather – until we got to the breakfast area, when we realised that it was actually snowing….. snowing – little flakes dropping to the ground. It was not looking good, but we were going to the Pine Creek Cookhouse for lunch, and we would need to drive up one of the mountains to get there, so hopefully there would be more snow up there.
