... ranger confirmed my fear that there was no legal way to get onto the island by bike. According to the ranger, one had to at some point travel the interstate to get there. It is illegal to cycle on most interstates in Utah and the majority of other states. I think there are maybe 3-5 states that allow cyclists on the interstate.
