... water feature that no longer flowed, and those high and impressive trees. Returning to the pool the girls lured me into a trap, Rosina squirting me with the water pistol. George returned to his swimming. Lounging by the pool was pleasant as I watched over George. As for Ellie she had to get on with her maths study, sitting in the conservatory where she could pick up wifi. Every day she had to revise ready to gain her maths degree at the end of the spring. ... or at least that is what I told him.

The capital, Mahon (or Mao) was a bit of a disappointment although the Xoriguer Gin Distillery did seem to let you taste as much as you wanted - a shame to be driving so made do with a useable souvenir purchase for use at home. The old ...

... fishy" about the place (pun completely intended!) and I was right - the water was full of all sorts of creatures, big fish, little fish (no cardboard boxes!), crabs, snails of all sorts of colours, eels and jelly fish... In fact, in true John form, he managed to get stung on the ear - which was quite painful for a bit but seemingly fine after a pint! We stopped for another swim in the sea on the way back and it was amazing how clear the water was. ...
